2: The ingredients of repentance | Jonah: Grace that is greater
In the first part of the message we left Jonah in the belly of a fish. He was running away from God, but God caught up with him. In this message we see how Jonah came to his senses and realised he couldn’t run from God forever. Jonah chapter 2 is the prayer of Jonah. It’s a beautiful Hebrew prayer where Jonah prays a prayer of repentance. This is Jonah’s own spiritual statement. As we go through it, we will discover the ingredients of repentance. It’s the same ingredients that we must have when we come to God in repentance.
