How to make the right choices | Mountain View
We will look at the third question to ask ourselves when making a decision and that’s the morality question. This relates to our conscience, that internal tension competing for our attention when we consider an option that if we choose it, it could lead to regret. To help us in this, we are going to look at a fascinating narrative from the life of King David, Israel’s second king, that illustrates the importance of paying attention to a seemingly irrational and in his case, an inconvenient tension. Everything was pointing in a direction, which on the surface seemed like the obvious choice. But something held David back and instead he made the right choice… although at the time it didn’t look like it was. In the message we will look at some steps we can take to guard against making the wrong choice and how God helps and protects us.
