7: Pride comes before a fall | The Book of Daniel
We all know the saying, ‘Pride comes before a fall.’ Perhaps we have experienced the reality of it, we certainly have seen others fall when they are full of pride. But what can we do to avoid the sin of pride? And it is a sin, as the Bible has some of the strongest things to say about pride. Why? Because pride places self above God – which is the essence of pride. One of the ways to deal with pride and develop a godly humility is to look at an example. In this message we will look at Nebuchadnezzar who was a man full of pride, but who God brought low which resulted in him becoming a believer. It’s a thrilling account with much to teach us.
