Comedians & Carols – A Night of Laughter and Song
Kick off the Christmas season in Portsmouth with a night of comedy and singalong carols at Comedians & Carols on Saturday, 25th November, at 7 pm. Featuring three top stand-up comedians. Paul Kerensa, writer for BBC1’s Miranda and Not Going Out, Wayne Shakespeare, a comic magician who’s a master of stupidity and nonchalance and Jude Simpson, who combines observational comedy with poetry, rap and song. A Christmas Carol Pantomime – Bah Humbug Delight
Experience the magic of Charles Dickens’ classic tale with a brilliant Christmas pantomime in Waterlooville by the Saltmine Theatre Company. Join the meanest man in London, Ebenezer Scrooge, on his journey of redemption on Saturday, 2nd December, at 2:30 pm or 7 pm. Christingle Service – Festive Family Fun – FREE
On 17th December at 10 am, the church invites families to a festive gathering with the Christingle Service. Children are encouraged to dress up as their favourite nativity character and join in crafting classic Christingles. The event is free, providing a joyful opportunity for kids to be part of the Christmas magic while celebrating the true meaning of the season.
Christmas Carol Celebration – FREE
Later on the 17th December, at 5:30 pm, the Christmas Carol Celebration promises enchanting carols, heartwarming songs, and captivating media in a memorable service. Carols by Candlelight – FREE
Step into the cosy glow of Christmas Eve on 24th December at 5:30 pm with Carols by Candlelight. The candlelit service features heartwarming carols, festive songs, and an inspiring short talk.
