Today we live in an age of globalisation, but the reality is that God planned globalisation before it every became a buzz phrase, in fact, the global ambitions run right through the Old Testament – including Psalm 117. As we come to worship, there are tens of millions who will have praised God in the far east, then as the earth spins, the millions from Africa join in, followed by the Americas. Yet in Central Asia there is a vacuum of praise rising to God, with 99% of people having never heard of Jesus who died and rose again to bring life, hope and a relationship with the Living God. In the message we’ll explore God’s global plans for the gospel from this short Psalm and be reminded of his faithfulness to his people.
